Things That Get Under My Skin

Today I'd like to talk about things that get under my skin. In light of the ridiculousness that has taken place this week with the Casey Anthony case,

#1: Unjust judgments in cases where people ARE guilty!

I can't even go into detail how disgusted I am with the ruling that took place earlier this week. It makes my stomach churn and makes me very, very sad because I want children so bad and have not had luck having one.
That's all I'll say about that.

#2: People who cut you off when you trying to tell them something important and then change the subject!

First of all, this is so rude I can't even begin to tell you how rude it is! If you don't care to listen you can at least act like you're listening until the person finishes. It's not that hard. Geesh!!!

#3: Girls, with a stank attitude who work in customer service positions

I don't know how many times I have run across this. Most recently it was at a banking facility. Now, I can understand that you have bad days or you’re tired or your period is going on and your cramping but really, not EVERYday. It's simple, if you don't like you're job, find a new one. If you're having a bad day, a bad week, a bad month really it's not my problem but if you're going to work in a customer service position.....be courteous and polite. Hello and a smile is NOT that hard.

(update)#4: Beauticians/stylists who either make you wait in the shop all day to get your hair done, or come in late when you purposely made an early appointment

I'ma go ahead and be very specific, and I hate to say it, but all my black hair stylist. I know many of you aren't, but a lot of you are...CONSISTENTLY...late! I hate getting my hair done to be honest. I love talkin' with the ladies in the salon and gossipin', catchin’ up on the latest but I don't like the process, I like the end result (note to self: maybe that's why I have a natural) anyways. I used to go to this salon here in the city and spend almost 6-7hrs. just to get a retouch on my perm and my hair curled. I would get there at 8 am and be done about 3pm. That was basically my whole Saturday! I know y'all get back up but the purposely double-booking method that A LOT of y'all use has GOT TO STOP. Then if you're gonna be in at 10am, be there at 10am or we should be able to charge you a late fee! LOL!

Ok, I'm finished with my little rant. LOL

  2. Lol, I agree. Customer service period. They choose the wrong people. But then again many companies don't care about us consumers.

  4. haha, don't apologize for this rant. It's very natural.

I can't stand when people have OD attitudes for no reason ALL THE TIME at their jobs. Like, what are you doing? If you hate your job - move onto the next. You can't have a bad day everyday. That's not allowed.

  5. ah couldn't agree more with you.
I think the girls with stank attitude basically hate their job and feel miserable so they spread the negativity..

  7. Hey! I really love your blog, so glad you followed mine! Excellent posts! Haha I know what you mean about salons! I'll go in for a manicure which should take 45 mins but I end up leaving 3 hours later because the therapists keep trying to tend to other clients at the same time arghh! Just let me go, I've got stuff to do! Haha! x
