Day 2 & 3 - 30 Day Challenge

Good Morning,

I want to apologize to my followers about not posting a, "Tuesday Topic" yesterday, I've been battling this cold and felt horrible yesterday.

Anywho, I continue on with my 30 day challenge I started on Monday today and I'll double up with yesterday's topic and today's.

Day 2: Something you feel strongly about

Something I feel strongly about is the mistreatment of children. Most of the time they can't speak for themselves. They have no say in what goes on in they're lives so they have depend on adults. Although I don't have any children of my own yet, I do want them very badly and may adopt someday.

Day 3:A book you love

It's a tie though between "Coldest Winter Ever" by Sista Soulja and
"Flyy Girl" by Omar Tyree. These are one of the two first black novels I read as a Sophmore in high school that really got me interest in reading and writing more. I think the imagery the authors used to paint a picture really got me.

  1. I read both those books! "The Coldest Winter Ever" was excellent and I have read it about 3 times since my first time.

  2. Both of these are among my favorites too! I think "The Coldest Winter Ever" and "Fly Girl" were like THEE coming of age books among my friends and girl cousins in high school.

  4. I agree 100%! Children's lives are dependent on adults and it's up to us to protect them.
