Happy November...I'm Back Again!

Hey everyone!

So glad to be back blogging again from my month break in October. October was a pretty difficult month for me, I was adjusting to a new work schedule, busy with Miss Nikki's Hair Bows & Accessories (my biz) and my husband had a dear cousin who was brutally murdered. So I felt the need to take a break, regroup and now here I am typing vigorously in my living room with my laptop on my coffee table, blogging before work. But I'm back and dedicated as ever.

I haven't been reading anyone's blogs either so I'm very anxious to see what you ladies have been up to lately.

This month, I want to do a couple reviews on things, Movies, Make-up (Beauty stuff), Hair, Bands and Artists. Also, I have a guest blogger that I will feature from time to time by the name of Urban Sage so be on the look out for that as well.

I have several different things lined up personally this month as well that I'm really excited about. Kanye and Jay-Z are coming to Kansas City later this month and I'll hopefully be in the house for that awesome concert.

Also I am participating in NanoWriMo, better known as National Novel Writing Month where you compose a Novel in 30 days. I'm super excited about this one as well!!!! This will be my second Novel I write (the first one I am still editing). I love a good challenge and this one definitely will be a challenge! I will definitely be updating you lovely ladies on my progress and even post snippets from the work-in-progress as well.

I think that's about all for now. It's the 1st of the month and here's my jam from back in the day we used to know every word to for some reason.

I'll check you all later! Peace!

P.S. This was written fairly quickly so please excuse the grammar and run on sentences! :)

  1. Wake up, wake up, wake up.. It's the first of the month!!! That used to be my jam! (Is it corny that I always make that my ringtone on the 1st of the month? lol)

Glad to see you back, sunshine! We all need to regroup from time to time. I'm sorry for your family's loss and my heart goes out to you and your husband both. My father-in-law lost his battle with cancer a couple of weeks ago and it is still hard to cope with. These types of things are sorrowful, but get better with time, I'm told.

I can't wait to read your upcoming posts I'll be sure to peep in and check you out over here, girlie!

    Take care and be blessed,
