Kevin Hart Sells Out 2 Shows At Sprint Center in Kansas City For "What Now?" Tour
You've seen him in his stand-up comedy movies, the movies, you've seen him on Real Husbands of Hollywood but there's nothing like seeing him on stage in person.
This Saturday he brought his "What Now Tour" to Kansas City, Missouri!
The first show was announced here in late February and sold out in February when the Tour was announced. I was too slow in getting tickets to the 7:30pm show and refused to sit in the nosebleed section, which was all the seat that were left.
I think it was a couple days later, I was so excited when he announced a second show was being added! So we snatched up great seats near the floor section for the 10:30pm show back in February.
Earlier this week while listening to Hot 103 Jamz, I heard them saying that there was a strict no phone rule. Waiting to get inside the building while standing in line outside, it was on the scrolling marquee outside on the building.
They had signs posted everywhere and we were reminded numerous times before the show even started that you would be kicked out of the show. It's very understandable since people want to video everything now days and talk on the phone during shows. I thought it was a great idea!
They said 100 plus people were ejected in the previous show and they didn't want it to happen again but in total I think probably 30 more were ejected at the late show.
Starting the show off with his hilarious cohorts Joey Wells (@), Will Spank Horton(@),and Na'im Lynn(@) know as the "Plastic Cup Boys".
I don't want to spoil the show for anyone, but it was definitely a different kind of production. Nothing like I've seen before with a comedian. Kevin was hilarious as usual and performed well over an hour! You definitely got your monies worth.
You'll walk away still laughing at this show! And saying "Really?"
(see the show and you'll get the joke LOL)
Approximately, 12 years ago while attending Missouri Western State University I saw him perform at our College for what I think was Spring Fling week. How inspiring is it to see him and how far he's come!
He's still got dates into early October, so if he hasn't came to your city he's probably on his way!
Here's an old post about one of the first stand-ups I saw him do back in '03 during the good 'ol college days:
